Call for patent disclosure:

- No one declared a patent.

AR Review:

AR: Eckhard investigate Siemens web page ownership
  - Might need to consult lawyers about this.
  - Web page owner on holiday.
  - Need an official OK from Siemens.
  - IBIS group has been split apart.

AR: Mike invite Walter Katz to talk about measurements BIRDs
  - No reply yet, probably busy until after DesignCon.

AR: David draft a BIRD to clarify [Model] Vinl/Vinh
  - This probably should be suspended after IBIS open forum discussion.
  - Bob: Xilinx example may not have shown the problem well.
  - Keep this AR until David is present.

New items:

Mike has posted the IBIS Quality Specification 1.1ab draft to the web page.

Continued review of IQ spec:

5.3. Model I-V Table Requirements
- This is an introduction only, no requirements here.
- The sentence and table explaining IBIS voltage conventions was updated.

- 5.3.1	{LEVEL 2}  I-V tables complete
  - It is believed that ibischk handles this, but Mike will check.
  - This will be deleted if IBISCHK handles it.

AR: Mike check ibischk source for 5.3.1

5.3.2 {LEVEL 3}  I-V tables have correct typ/min/max order
- Kim: Some software tries this but may get it wrong.
- Mike: We need to look at combined curves
  - Kim: What if software for this is not available?
  - Mathematically, if individual curves are OK then combined are too.
- Mike: Some simulators have DC errors with strange individual curves,
  even if the combined curves are OK
  - This happens when individual I/V curves have very sharp changes.
  - It is possible that low order spline approximations are introducing error.
  - This problem is best fixed by EDA vendors, not discussed in IQ.
- Kim: Model makers probably have ways to properly check combined curves.
- We clarified the text of this check "live".

AR: Mike send IQ draft 1.1ac with latest changes.
